Easy Reactions lets viewers post and replay timestamped emoji reactions on YouTube videos. This page explains the small amount of data that makes that work.
01 · What we collect
Four fields power the replay.
When you click a reaction, Easy Reactions sends only the YouTube video ID, selected emoji, playback timestamp, and formatted time range needed to replay it at the correct moment.
Emoji
Records the reaction you explicitly chose.
Timestamp
Replays the reaction at the moment that sparked it.
Time range
Builds the readable timestamp in the posted comment.
Our service adds a creation timestamp. It also processes ordinary network information, such as an IP address, temporarily for rate limiting, security, and normal server operation.
03 · What stays on your device
A cooldown timestamp. That's it.
The extension stores the time of your most recent reaction in Chrome local storage. It is used only to enforce the short reaction cooldown and prevent accidental repeat posting.
04 · What we do not collect
No shadow profile.
Easy Reactions does not collect your YouTube display name, channel handle, email address, passwords, authentication cookies, payment information, advertising identifiers, or browsing history outside YouTube. It does not run analytics or serve personalized advertising.
05 · How we use it
To post. To replay. To protect.
Reaction metadata is used only to provide and protect the extension's timestamped reaction and replay features. Data is transmitted over HTTPS to api.youtubeeasyreactions.com.
07 · Retention and deletion
Kept for replay, removable by request.
Reaction records are retained so reactions can replay on future views. To request deletion of a reaction, email calendhub@gmail.com with the YouTube video ID, emoji, and approximate timestamp so the record can be located.
08 · Chrome Web Store Limited Use
One purpose means one purpose.
Easy Reactions' use and transfer of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the user-facing reaction and replay features described here.
09 · Children
Not directed to children.
Easy Reactions is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10 · Changes
Changes stay visible.
If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will also be reflected in the Chrome Web Store listing when required.

02 · Comment posting
The click is the permission.
Easy Reactions constructs the timestamped comment shown by the extension and posts it only after you explicitly click an emoji. The comment text goes directly to YouTube through YouTube's on-page comment interface. It is not sent to our service.
